Well it is a beautiful Spring morning here in sunny Wodonga. My cousin Robert in the UK, has this wonderful blog for all family/friends to read. I thought it a super idea to share this way, so am attempting to replicate the idea here LOL!
The 4 kids are all at their various schools today so I am enjoying a brief period of quiet in the house. School just went back this week for term 4, and I can't say I was sad to to see the holidays end!
I have been working hard lately studying Technical analysis for my options trading. I am thoroughly enjoying the challenge and have a great friend Leanne who is learning to. We have made several trips to Melbourne for weekend conferences to enhance ??? our learning curve, so now we need to stop just paper trading and get down to the business of earning some real cash!
Our tranquil paddocks ( fields) across the road from our home are being mutilated in the name of "residential progress" and now comprise of 30 small hosuing lots just awaiting new homes to be built upon them. The horses that were there, are of course in new pastures, and the constant droan of earthmoving equipment, battles against the chirping of the remaining birds.
Andrew is "in training" for the 135km local cycling challenge called " The Granya Grind". He is out on the bike at 6am EVERY morning for an hour before work, and tries to get a ride of a few hours duration of a weekend. My attempts to develop an interest in bike riding came to an abrupt halt last week when a nesting magpie swooped me and knocked me clear off my ancient pushbike!
Today I pick up my new web-cam ( Thankyou Uncle George for the helpful suggestions). I am excited having never had such a thing before and hope to " see in person" al the "rellies" from time to time and "chat live".
Well I will close this initial post here, but tune in folks on a regular basis for more updates from Michaela's musings....a work in process!
